To ensure you have a smooth experience with your new AiDEX CGM Sensor, it is imperative to undergo formal training conducted by a certified AiDEX agent. This training will cover everything from setup to daily use, ensuring you are fully equipped to manage your health effectively.
Scheduling Your Training:





AiDEX™ is a real-time continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) that can be used for daily self-monitoring of glucose levels. AiDEX™ is indicated for people 14 years or older living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Step 2: Insert the sensor
Open the sensor box and unscrew the preloaded AiDEX™ applicator anticlockwise. Insert the sensor into the abdomen or back of the upper arm. (Consult the Insertion Guideline for site preparation, direction of insertion and correct engagement of the inserter).
Step 3: Attach the transmitter
Align and attach the AiDEX™ transmitter to the installed sensor. (Consult the Insertion Guide)
Step 4: Pair the transmitter and view readings
Pair the transmitter within 30 minutes to the AiDEX™ App to allow data transfer. Sensor warm-up is one hour. Users can view their readings on the AiDEX™ App and will receive real-time alerts on their linked devices.
AiDEX™ is a minimally invasive medical device that continuously measures the interstitial glucose concentration. The AIDEX™ sensor is inserted subcutaneously and data is transmitted to the AIDEX™ App or reader via Bluetooth from the linked AiDEX™ transmitter.
Yes, the AiDEX™ CGM System is water resistant and will continue to work under water, as long as it is not submerged more than 1 meter under water or kept submerged for more than 30 minutes at a time.
The AiDEX™ CGM sensor can be worn on the abdomen or back of the upper arm.

I consent to Medtronic contacting me through telephone calls, SMS’s, and emails for the purpose of on-going patient care. For purposes of ongoing patient care, Medtronic will create a Medtronic Diabetes Profile which records the device allocated to the patient, the device serial number for purposes of the warranty and any product observations which might have been logged to that medical device (required by regulatory). This enables the patient to contact a 24-Hour Product support line for support on that specific medical device.
I further consent to Medtronic contacting me through SMS’s and emails for the purpose of informing me of any Medtronic products. This will include Medtronic training material regarding the medical device, support emails on product discontinuation and upgrade availabilities on the patient’s specific medical device when nearing the warranty expiry and consumable updates/changes.
