Overview

The Dexcom ONE+ Receiver is a handheld display device used with the Dexcom ONE+ Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It wirelessly receives glucose readings from the Dexcom ONE+ sensor and displays real-time glucose values, trend arrows, and glucose trends to help people living with diabetes make informed diabetes management decisions.

The receiver provides glucose readings every 5 minutes and includes customizable high and low glucose alerts. It is suitable for individuals who prefer a dedicated CGM display device or who may not have a compatible smartphone.

Usage Instructions

Charge the receiver using the supplied USB cable before first use. Power on the receiver by pressing and holding the select button for several seconds. Follow the on-screen setup instructions to configure date, time, alerts, and sensor pairing.

Once the Dexcom ONE+ sensor has been inserted, enter the 4-digit pairing code displayed on the sensor applicator. The receiver will connect to the sensor and begin displaying glucose readings after the sensor warm-up period.

Keep the receiver within approximately 6 metres of the sensor to maintain Bluetooth communication.

Precautions

If Dexcom ONE+ glucose readings or alerts do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.

Do not use the Dexcom ONE+ Receiver during MRI procedures or high-frequency electrical heat (diathermy) treatment. The receiver should not be passed through airport baggage X-ray scanners.

The Dexcom ONE+ system components are intended to support glucose monitoring and are not a replacement for professional medical advice.

I consent to Medtronic contacting me through telephone calls, SMS’s, and emails for the purpose of on-going patient care. For purposes of ongoing patient care, Medtronic will create a Medtronic Diabetes Profile which records the device allocated to the patient, the device serial number for purposes of the warranty and any product observations which might have been logged to that medical device (required by regulatory).  This enables the patient to contact a 24-Hour Product support line for support on that specific medical device. 

I further consent to Medtronic contacting me through SMS’s and emails for the purpose of informing me of any Medtronic products.  This will include Medtronic training material regarding the medical device, support emails on product discontinuation and upgrade availabilities on the patient’s specific medical device when nearing the warranty expiry and consumable updates/changes.
